Diy spray job Empty
PostSubject: Diy spray job   Diy spray job EmptySat 6 Sep - 22:06

Finally got round to painting my winglets last week having had the paint for weeks and pretty pleased with the results given they were a rattle can effort done in the garage so thought I would whack some pictures up.

Before;

As they came off the car. Might not be obvious in the pics but bad prep,blue paint showing through on the ridges,spots that had reacted & stonechips.

After;

Dusting of plastic primer to any bare spots, 3 coats of crystal grey metallic & 5 coats of lacquer.

Massive improvement from before and will be going back on the car along with a ht autos splitter sometime this coming week.

Cheers Ross.
