any one good with surround sound

got a samsung led tv and samsung home cinema kit how do i get the normal tv to work through the surround sound di i need the digatil optical cable been on 2 hours its doing me heed in

The surround sound needs to be set to d-in, I'm fairly sure mine hasn't got any extra leads except hdmi lead between them. It does seem to take it a while before you get sound from it though.

i have a samsung tv and had to use an optical cable for surround sound from tv , an optical will give clearer sharper sound quality too as its digital, dont bother with a stupid expensive one get one off the bay for £5 , mine works perfect with no hiss, cracle , interference etc even when iv got it on full tilt 850w rms, shakes the street

just get some phono leads to go from the aux audio output on the sky/freeview box and connect them into the aux input ports on back of surround sound

yes but if tv has an optical output and surround system has an input then put it too use as this greatly improves sound quality as its digital signal rather than the all phono plugs

sorted got 1 from tesco £4 sounds mint and only 1 lead instead ov loads
