i have been having a few problems with my key and found out how to diy re-programme a key (£200+ from subaru with a new key £50 to re-programme)
if you get a donor key (ebay ect...) if its blank get it cut or swap the internals.....
Reprogramming Procedure
1- Arm and then Disarm the system using the working Radio Key.
2- Put the key in the ignition
3- Within 30 seconds of disarming, type into the keypad- *17856*91*2# where 2 is total number of radio keys to work the system
4- Briefly press both radio keys in turn (the dash board LED will flash each time and the siren will bleep) Any radio keys not programmed here will no-longer operate the system.
You should now be able to arm and disarm the system using all the radio keys programmed.
if you don't have the orig 4 digit code you can change this to your own quite easily....
