The only way it will fit is if you put it on upside down mate as the threads are different

Just got the for you mate hope you can make sense of it
well got round to fitting this and yes definatley need the clockspring and i minor adjustment to the back of it as it has locating pins and only 2 line up need to trim them to fit flush as only 2 screw fittings line up aswell
thanks for your replys just make sure you get the clockspring with the steeringwheel, and for the expand you will see when you try to replace the new spring were only 2 scews line there are 2 very small locating plastic pins i just cut them off
just make sure you take the earth strap off the battery leave for 5 mins then undo the 2 side torque screws take away the air bag by taking the plugs off you will see behind the bag you also have to undo the cowling then you will see 4 screws holding the clockspring on undo them and also undo the centre steering nut leave on a little so know steering wheel hits you in the face lol,now that you have the clock spring loose remove the under panel on the right hand side and trace the wires to one yellow plug and one black one unplug them and remove the clockspring then just replace with your new one in reverse a little tip when putting the clockspring on before fully fitting try the cancelation as if indicating left and right and spin the clockspring to see if it cancels then if that works just screw everything back up new plugins were they go steering wheel on and earth strap on and fire up ive had know issues hope that helps
