Had no luck getting a second hand set of alloys so probably just going to go for a new set. I had rotas on an 8.5 width and 44 offset on my blobeye wrx and they sat perfect. I was wondering if the size of the wheel arches in the hawk are the same so the alloys would look the same in the arches. Its a wrx so both non widetrack. I think they will probably be the same just wanted to check before I buy a set.

Cheers guess the relative apperance of the wheels in the arches is the same for the blob and the hawk. Wanted to check the offset and the width would have the same look in the wheel arch. Undecided wether to go for the rota grids or gravel alloys.
Going to get the 8.5 +44 setup as I know it fits well and doesnt require any mods like arch rolling.

Think I'm more swayed towards the grids seems as I've had a set of gravels before. Problem is finding a tyre size as my preference is more towards a bigger tyre rather than the stretched looked. The hawk in the picture is running 255 35 18 tyres which there seems to be conflicting info regarding wether or not that size would fit without coilovers. Wondering if anyone knows what I should really be looking at tyre wise. Best off making sure as I would hate to spend alot of money and then running into fitting issues.

By chance revolution had 20% off oz wheels and tyres when I went in to order the rotas. Ended up going for ultraleggeras. Gone for a 17x8. Having had 17s 18s and 19s my preference is for the 17 I found the benefits in the drive outweigh the appearance. Having a look my new setup is going to be saving 13lbs per corner that seems a massive difference is this something that would also translate into a big difference in the drive.
