Got a few photos today of the car with the new wheels on.
The photos really don't do it justice as my phone with the decent camera broke. These are the wheels I went for
Bit of a nightmare to keep it clean at the moment done it last night and 10mins of driving and it's undone. Some of yous will probably recognise it as jonny gavs old car. I'm currently deciding wether to go for an amd rear diffuser of leave the standard on.

Unless you go to Mario's length and fully prep them, then cleaning wheels this time of year is like repeatedly punching yourself in the genitalia for fun........its not fun.
But nice looking all the same

Couple of slight changes on the car. Originally planned to do the red pin stripe thing around the grills but I was useless at getting it neat so gave up on that. Whilst the grills were off decided to try a different front badge found a scooby clinic one from when I bought some mats. Might go for a custom front badge later on but I prefer the black badge rather than the blue. Gave the wheels a bit of a clean and had the new splitter put on after breaking the old one.
Not too sure to go for some foglight blanks or leave the fogs as they are. I've got some bonnet dampers and rallytech bolt kit on order. Going to give the engine bay a good clean tomorrow aswell.

Cheers mario appreciate it, think I'm going to leave it with just the badge for the moment and see later on. I think you're right about the fog covers frampo. I went to subaru today to order some but they couldn't. They said they couldn't order them unless I give them a matching chassis number for the foglights with the right paint code. I have my paint code and chassis number but I said it wasnt a part for a wrx so then I need to find matching numbers from an sti. Don't know if anyone knows where is best to get them from and roughly how much they cost, I've seen about $30 each painted in the US but I can imagine uk prices are alot higher.

Chris - all you need is your paint code. You can then either get some aftermarket copies and get them painted, or I am sure we may have a few STIs on here or Scoobynet with the same paint code. Genuine Subaru ones will be expensive. Let me know what your code is and I will research it for you.

Cheers my paint code is 01g premium silver. Ive had a look and theres the scoobyworld replica ones for £60. Yeah they wouldn't do anything even with my paint code never checked the computer or anything just said they couldn't help. Guess my mistake looking to order a part for a subaru from the subaru parts department. I might try contacting here to see aswell http://www.subarupartsstore.co.uk/

Had a go at cleaning the engine bay today didn't come up to bad for a first attempt. Couldn't get everything completely clean but better than it was before. I used meguiars engine cleaner then dressing thought it was quite good and easy to use.
With regards to cleaning the engine bay how often is it worth doing. I was thinking every other week with a damp cloth and every few months for a proper clean.

Decided to go for a bit of a different look for the car. Wanted to go for something little bit more subtle. Probably not to alot of peoples taste taking away the impreza trademark but after 2 imprezas and an evo having the same look wanted something different.
Its a genuine sti limited spoiler. Had the work done at htg in Stella Gill would definetly recommend to anyone wanting work done. I also got the rear badge removed and the holes filled.
Possibly thinking a roof vane spoiler in the future aswell

Looks great to me mate.
I'd be tempted to get rid of the scoop (if thats possible), paint the calipers same as the wheels and change the tail pipe. #sleeperfun

Went for a little run out in the car today and got a few pictures. Really pleased with the new look the car has now, possibly not to all taste removing the impreza trademark.

Must say I like the spoilerless look! Unique and shakes things up a bit which is a good thing, red callipers look nice and engine bay has come up a treat
