wiseco custom 2,35 piston kit with uprated pins
carrillo custom h billet rods
mdx321v turbo
syvecs ecu
a one off prototype cosworth flywheels and act 6 puk clutch out of gradys car

Sounds like you're building an animal there Andy, what you hoping for 450/480 ish?
Unfortunately this year my cash is going into a house extension  then maybe the end of the year I might sell the WRX before it gets to 60000 and either buy a hatchback STI or a classic type r.

really carl ya would get a type r would you have a standard one or a fully forged 6 speed monster turbo may as well get one some else has spent the money on

My plans are get the car rebuilt and not crash it, sounds simple but not easy!!

If I get a type r it will be a long term project and used as a second car, doubt I would buy one already totally sorted as i enjoy the modding nearly as much as the driving.
What bhp are you hoping for then?

Stripping the classic down to its bare bones, restoring it and building it back up bigger and better. Thats the plan anyway.

500 or more its the torque i want mine has shit torque and 399,5 bhp just isnt cutting the mustard feels shit slow

Yeah I bet 399 feels slow Are you still going to use it as a daily driver 500 is a lot for a road car you must get a lot of lag when your up at them figures?

it is a road car and my only car im sure the anti lag will cure that lol the reason im building that way is for strength

My Hawkeye was at 480 Carl and my daily driver 13,000 miles a year - there was very little lag in that I can tell you

What turbo was that Mario? I think I have been setting my aspirations a bit low, I always presumed going over 400 would start getting lagy and having to use difficult paddle clutches not ideal for a daily driver. Might have to up the standards on my next project.

Not a lot planned for me next year new rubber hoping for a wheel change if not definitly a colour change on my current wheels

Think I'm going to whack a fmic on mine to run even more power just to beat Bish that extra bit more and if my 2.0 engine decides to pap it's pants which is very hard to do as you's all know then I might have to go down the fully forge route but until then I'll be happy enough with the power I gain by adding the fmic

But you know Bish's car is faster than yours due to the colour combination alone, Blue with White wheels is obviously faster than grey.

Haha no dice Carl I've bought myself some new go faster and wider wheels.. I've got this!! Plus my wr blue brembos added quite a bit bhp that not many people know about

Well my cars in the christmas spirit at the moment with every light possible on the dash, so shes getting a map tweak 20th january by duncan @ race dynamics, also adding cold air feed,air pump aux delete, mafless,launch control and quick shift, also going to book her in for some paint and a new exhaust system, aswell as a service off kidon after shes been mapped because shes done around 3k miles since i got her, Got spoiler stiffys to go on and grease nipple mods on my struts as there really noisy

Finish cleaning up suspension/brake upgrade parts and get them fitted. Drop spacer out of front cross member and get cdb out of Andy B's classic re-built by Mr Kindon. Cars running crap atm so will probably have to get that sorted pretty soon aswell.
