There was a guy on Scoobynet who put a vortex generator on with tiger seal and the wind snapped it in half, just saying. I heard the best stuff to use was the type of adhesive you put windscreens in with.

That sounds a bit surprising considering how much contact area you've got with that plastic - the whole width of the roof and 3-4" deep I'm guessing. Saying that he could have left enough of a gap and been sparing enough for the wind to get in there. The biggest problem Ive had with Tiger seal is wiping up the excess and I was only using it to reinforce another attachment configuration on a spoiler.
Good luck either way Andy.

Iv prepped the vortex by cleaning it with white vinegar I will do the same with the roof of the car to remove wax/polish and dirt, then I'm gonna use the sealant all around te spoiler just inside of the edges with a good amount of the sealant and also a good amount between the fins. Then use white vinegar again to remove any mess made. That will do the trick.

You might be alright actually Andy, it was double sided bodyshop tape that this lad used on his spoiler, not tiger seal as I previously thought. Ended up looking like this lol
I think the tape must get wet from the rain and become un-sticky after a while. Tiger seal should be ok though after it's had a good chance to set.

Mine stuck on with trusty volvo black silicone from work, sticks anything to anything! Haha it's still on after 18 months so you should be ok.

I weighted it down with bricks between the fins while it set. Obviously put rags between brick and vortex generator
