| Chilton Aquatics, Ferryhill - Anyone been or heard anything about them? Website looks canny, is the shop up to what the web claims? Wasted an hour last week going to see about 12 fish, when the website claimed stocking nearly every tropical fish known to man! | |

| Small shop in Chilton, been there for 20 yrs plus I reckon. Was in just before Xmas looking at a starter tank but not yet decided. I'd say quite a bit of stock. 2 fellas run it and pretty straight talking. Phone ringing off the hook while I was there and quite a few customers for a shop off the beaten track so must have something going for them. Maybe 30-40 tanks from memory range thru cold water, tropical and marine. Hope that helps. | |

| I've used chiton aquatics for quite a few years now, bought quite a few fish from their over the years and received plenty of good advice off them. | |

| Thanks chaps.
I'm down at Fishalive next week and just wondered if this was worth call into while I was down, as its 30 odd minutes drive down for me.
All the fish stores around me have took a dive recently, I can have neon tetras, angelfish or guppies - anything more than that and they are either a crap breeding line or can't be sourced anymore!
At the minute I'm just after plants and décor as the water is still cycling. | |
