silly question here when u get ur ecu remapped and u buy the license it is only a one off payment am I correct ? Is there any map licences that you pay for every year ?

Pay the license once mate and then only pay for remaps after that

Pay only once and remaps from the same mapper are cheaper. E.g. about £160 for a map tweak. However if you bring it to a mapper who hasn't mapped the car before it will be more expensive i.e. around £300

Cheers guys my friend had been In touch with Bob and he told them once paid it stays with the ecu I tht I was correct in saying that but I tht ud ask incase thee is one like that as bobs mapped my car twice

Certain mappers that have mapped an ecu already and then say it is sold on and fitted to a new car will charge you for the licence again even though they have mapped it previously and it has their licence on, Andy Forrest does it.
