PostSubject: Boot seal    Boot seal EmptyThu 22 Jan - 12:24

I'm getting water in the boot of the Scooby looks like the boot seal but can't see any damage to it iv also pulled some of the seal off and the metalwork looks fine I know it's a common fault so what's the best way to stop the water getting in as the boot carpet is soaking wet

It's more than likely to be your rear light seals' or the boot spoiler mate

Can't see any water marks around the spoiler bolts even know the spoiler is full of water that's another job lol. I will check the drivers side rear light but don't think it's coming from there as the water seems to start hitting the carpet towards the rear shocker cover inside the boot

Open you boot and tip water round the water channel see if you can pin point the leak if it’s the boot seal
