PostSubject: Bootlid smoothed   Bootlid smoothed EmptyThu 23 Apr - 20:28

I've picked up one of the v limited sti spoilers for the car. I might be able to get a hole of a bootlid where it has already been done, but if not I'll have to get mine done. I was wondering if anyone knows what sort of price I might expect to pay. It'll be for 4 holes to be filled possibly 6 if debadged, bootlid resprayed and 4 new holes drilled for the limited lip spoiler. Had a look online but can't really find much info. cheers

Yeah I asked and there's a place on the estate I'll go and see. Just trying to find a ball park figure as I don't have a clue how much getting bodywork done costs.

Micky, the lad in the same estate as Kindon has done some work on a few of my mates cars and it has always been really good. Normally reasonable priced as well.

That'll be 'HTG Body and Paint' - I went to speak to them about getting some bits of rust sorted and the guy couldn't have been more helpful, quote was good too. They're on Facebook with plenty of examples of their work. I'll be going back to get mine done once I've got the cash!

Cheers seems its definetly worth a look up there. It'll be ideal as its just a minute from me. It looks they do alot of show cars which is definetly a good thing when it comes to getting bodywork done. Think I'll get a quote but sorting the possible boost leak will be first priority.

When i had my classic I had 2 small bits of rust sorted and had it delocked. It was also debadged by the bootlids previous owner which had scraped down to the metal when bein removed (Must have used a hammer and chisel to take the plastic badges off  Evil or Very Mad  ). The work shop sorted all this for £250.  That was sprayed with the high level spoiler on and was a mint job...Just if it helps pricing wise...

I did get cheaper quotes but didn't like or trust the people.... I am known to be a little fussy with my cars!
