| Myself, Nick Marshall (Thin Diesel), Andy Bish, Andrew Trever, Lee MacDonald, Mike Purcell & Mousey took part in an epic 2 day rally with 50 cars last weekend. It was really well organised and we had walkie talkies to keep in touch on the road. The variety of cars on the rally was awesome - from a Ferrari 458 Italia, V10 Audi R8 GT, 800bhp Nissan GTR, 700bhp E63 AMG, 530bhp Astra GSI, oldskool Cavalier SR, Westfield kit cars, BMWs, V8 Monaro, Q7, Integra Type R, Renault Clio to a boatload of other epic cars, as well as 10 scoobs. We drove up on the Saturday, stayed overnight in Glencoe and drove back on the Saturday. Highlight of the year for me and I am sure the other Scooby lads would agree. There were some epic twisties and the scoobs were definitely the kings of the twisties in the wet. Special mention has to go to Thin Diesel & Bish who drove like champions and took on all comers, regardless of the BHP!!! - Believe it or not even Miss Daisy here showed some flashes of mentalness along the way, to the surprise of the lads who know me well!!! Anyway here is a selection of the photos, hope you like them: Roll on Next Year's Rally |

| I go up to Glencoe a fair bit and the roads once though Glasgow and up in to the Trossachs are stupendous, shame I'm normally in the Volvo I saw a Blue Newage, I think Mr Bish, the other day with the sticker still on it in Billigham | |

Danny - it was absolutely epic. They opened up next year's event to all those who took part in the first one before they were going to make it public - there were an additional 10 cars as well - 60 instead of the 50 on this one. But unfortunately all 60 places got booked up in 2.5 days before they could open it to the public, such was the success of the 1st one. But they will be organising more Rally's going forward. And of course we stuck to the speed limit - it was a rally, not a race |
