PostSubject: Hatch Chassis number   Tue 26 May - 10:56

theres somee cosmetic damage to the front bumper on my 2008 sti hatch. i'll be replacing it with a new one but i may aswell change it to the facelifted 2011 bumper while im on. here lies the problem, Subaru will only search for parts based on chassis (VIN) number. would anybody with a 2011 hatch be willing to give me their chassis number so i can use it to get the bumper ordered?

i know i'll also need the grill too, from my research it seems like thats all i need to make it fit though.

if anyone can help me work around Subaru's stupid sytem that would be great.

It's not just a straight swap, I think the grill is deferent as well. It will be a fortune.

ordered them (thanks to kgt), turned up today. wasn't too bad for subaru prices, bumper was £395, grill £160, fog covers £45 each, and £15 for the towing eye cover. should be painted and fitted by the end of next week.

also ordered both front wings because mine had some bodge in and i wanted them mint. i may be going over the top as i'm about to order a new windscreen because mine has a few small stone chips in. just want the car to be cosmetically mint.
