Subject: changing dash ! Sun 12 Sep - 19:05
ok as most of you know im changing the dash in the scoob ! ive already took the old one out after 2 hours of shouting and screaming ! now what im trying to find out is :
does the 96-00 take any modifications to fit into my 93 WRX or should it be straight forward ?
if its a TWAT then will have a nicely flocked dash for sale

i thought about it too.and was told it was a bit of a TWAT ..think you have to modify brackets and shit..... i could be wrong i normally am

Hat off to you if you complete it, i got flustrated & sold the dash & fitted a flocked one. Wiring is a nightmare. Best of luck though.

As mark says there a nightmare nothing fits as in clocks wiring inc switchs heater panels n switches everythings totally differant on the 98-00 dash i even believe the complete heater box is differant

as said above total nightmare to do, i personally wouldnt even attempt it, to much wiring to change, and the speedo is electronic on the 98-00 , the early ones had cable driven speedo

A new age dash might also be an option, I've seen that done before. On a yellow classic I saw on PistonHeads a bit back.

Yip i remember seen one done I'm sure it was a 99-00 car which wud be a bit easier
