Does anybody know what size speaker fits into the back of a classic and are the ones in the door the same size as the ones in the back? Cheers.

am 99% sure the back door speakers are smaller (4" a think)
and there isnt much room to fit better/bigger ones
IMO best off upgrading the rear shelf speakers mate

I think they have to be bigger than 4" cos I have some 100mm ones here and they're miles to small for the door or the rear shelf.

Measured the existing rear shelf speakers and they are 160mm or 6.3". The only size I can find online is 170mm though, does anyone know if they'll still fit even though they are a bit bigger? Or do I have to get smaller ones?

170mm is ever so slightly too big looking at it. There's also 3 holes in my car and 4 on the speakers so I'm going to have to drill a couple of new holes into them, grrr!
