Subject: Cambelt noise Sun 9 Jan - 18:46
Have noticed a bit of a rattle/squeak coming from the cambelt when I first start up the car. After a few minutes of running it stops but I've noticed when driving a low speed ie round car parks or pulling onto the drive I can hear I slight rattle again.
I'm guessing this ain't gonna be good news and if so how much would a cambelt replacement be?

Sounds like a fooked tensioner to me. Best be safe and get it checked out though.

Not entirely sure mate, not that clued up hence the post!! Everything else seems fine, drives fine although I've avoided giving it the beans until I get a diagnosis!
