| Just got me new custom made catch tank today, x3 13mm inlets, so no need to tee pipes off, should help things as the e-bay one that was on the car filled up pretty fast & had no drain & was back filling lol. Fits Didn't cost the earth & could choose amount & location of the inlets, & its also baffled, so doesn't spray the oily water straight out of the out let, just the vapor.

| The Impreza specific one they do is £150 by the time you add p & p this worked out at less than half that, which is not much more that the universal e-bay cack. | |

| dont mean to put a downer on anything bud but if you were filling up your catch tank pretty fast thats not really a good sign, im not saying its knackered it could just be ur oils too thin or if it was overfueling alot this can cause catch tank to fill up as it can cause whats known as bore wash, imo id get it checked and change oil etc rather than just put on a bigger tank bud

| Cheers for the advise Andy, had the fueling checked on the LM-1 seemed fine, i did get some oil off the lad who i bought it off was left over from when he seriviced it, it was 10 40 which is different to what i used to put in my other classic, (15 50), oil change on the cards at the weekend.

| Can I just ask, noob question alert, what happens if you don't have a catch can fitted? what's it for? what advantages does it have? | |

| Not needed on a standard engine to be honest but worth doing on a forged engine with large piston clearances, it catches the oil vapours before they are run through the engine, oil vapor effectively reduces octane rating so it is sort of a performance mod. Looks good by the way Mark | |
