Windows 7 disk urgently

Got a virus on laptop and it's fooked it ?
Need to wipe it an re-install !

Hey Muzz,
Why don't you just backup to a previous restore point.
This has saved my work's laptop loads of times.

Reboot your computer and before the Windows logo appears press F8.

Then select Safe Mode.

Once Windows boots go to Control Panel,
Click on Recovery,
Then click on Open System Restore.
Next click on a restore point to somewhere before you got the virus attack.

Once you have restored to that previous point you should have no more problems.

Next get a very good anti-virus - if you have BTBroadband you can get BTNetProtect free.
Then try to stay off of those dodgy site's.

What make of laptop is it?? Most laptops have a recovery partition on the hdd normally hidden you access it by pressing one of the f buttons before the laptop boots from your hdd

Press the power button to start the HP. Press and hold the F11 key to launch the HP Recovery Manager from the recovery partition.
