fuel consumption= truck-v-scoob

am pissed off big style with how much v-power am using in the scoob

so a done a few test recently.

am getting around 140 mile t £40 worth ov vpower in the scoob

a done the same test in me truck, = put in the expensive deisel £134.9 a ltr, and a got 230 mile out ov it

and the truck was carrying its own weight and nearly a ton ov waste= truck 2200kg +1000kg =3200kg



anyway am now going t use the truck everyday, and a can always stick the odd litre ov veg oil in

Just don't be tempted to put cherry aid in it mate - I've had the Land Rover tank dipped twice by VOSA in the last couple of weeks. And I havn't got a reputation as a pikey.....

the vans out in force now mate it was in the paper last week they were at the top of my road at the copt hill pulling all sorts of shit..

£40 at £1.35 a ltr is 6.52 gallons, divided by 140 mile = 21.5 miles/gallon which isnt too bad for a scoob, agree tho the price of fuel is mental

I get around 200-210miles on a full tank £60ish. I also have a lead weight attached to my right foot

If I have worked that out right I'm getting 24.5miles to the gallon Which is pretty good

Just filled mine up, done 102 miles since getting mapped for the second time monday and managed 11.75mpg
Enjoyed every mile though

I drive a long wheel base high roof van and the mileage I get over that compared to my impreza isn't much!


If I drive to Stevens in York it would probably cost me £40 in fuel but if I drive in the Impreza I reckon about £55

My Van is faster than any Impreza but we don't buy them to worry about mileage:)

not so much as worry about MPG

just saying what a will be using everyday from now on.

its costing me around 90 quid a week to do a 360 mile journey and thats taking it easy.
me scoobies going at the weekend puting it in for a 1.7 cdti sri corsa .
im going to miss the sweet tone but ill not miss the fuel expense plus im starting to give the misses lessons and i cant get insurance on the scoob for her.
ive had 3 imprezas now and loved all of them if only our fuel prices were like the united states .

(mind you if i win the lottery ill probs buy another lol)

Truck=14=17mpg
Scooby=not a lot
Sti=220/Tank full
dog walking=3 mars bars, 2 pairs of trainers, 6 cans of pop, 1 pee, 2 shits and 1 heart attack pmsl
