Subject: HELP-Unexplained hose Sun 13 Mar - 21:03
Hi Guys
Total newbie here
Upon inspection of my 2002 wrk, I have noticed a hose running form the turbo and it has an open end (not attached to anything), and the open end is located close to the intercooler and dump valve.
Should this hose be open or is it suppose to be connected anywhere?

does your car have standard dump valve on sounds like the recirc pipe from dump valve to turbo intake.where you based ?

thats deffo recirc pipe that goes back to turbo intake pipe should have bung in it mate or fit standard dump valve which fits to that hose and intercooler

wouldnt leave it open mate all shite getting draged cant be good for the intake to the turbo

am surprised your car is running correctly without a bung in there
it will be sucking air in after the MAF = not good.

Upon closer inspection, the hose is actually blocked someway down ... phew. Schoolboy error!!
