Hi guys

Well with the NBO 9 just 2weeks away just thought I will give you some information for you as a group what is happening

We have aprox 300 cars booked to come (list closes tonight so there is always the last minute rush by the disorganised )
That includes 265 cars as part of clubs and 35 cars that are billy no mate / independents

Bit of a change to 8 years ago with 3/4 clubs and lots of independents
Our vision has worked by getting people joining into group s

The layout of the field is
Left to right

CS 23
Tts 31
Simply Subaru 29
Uk Scoobies 29

Corner / burger van ( we have no control over prices as LV supply it as a francise )

NESF 32
LADS. 40

Uk legacies 10
Ypco 12
CADS 20
NWC 12
Porsche 15
Fathers corner secret group (fetch your camera )12

These are the numbers we have at present

Traders silverstone autosportn
Eclipse
Stick me up
Grade. A
Revolution
Big Boolies
Conders and PRO-R Subaru display

And of course in the middle the arena which will hold up to 60 cars ,the Nbo tent and charity tent and the winners enclosure

In the middle will be a couple of rows of independent owners

That's basically the plan of the field

Congratulations on 32 cars in your plot you are now classed as big boys and next to the LADS who have rge biggest club with 40 cars
Your area will be 40 metres deep by 40 across so you will have plenty space to assemble your displays and tents and what ever you have planned to show off your club and cars

I need your help guys though as your one of the biggest clubs we have 25 marshals and your corner is the biggest and busy part of the field
Could you All TRY to get there for 905-915 AM
We are expecting the tts 920-930 and the LaDS at 930 -940
We will be sending the lads anti clockwise round the field to stop the congestion along the top wall
but if you can all be in 910am ish that would help the bottleneck that we experienced last year as it now takes longer with clubs having to reverse in and set up their positions of the car s etc

In assume you will have a plan of how your cars will be parked eg colour ,style or whatever and which cars will be at the front as showpieces and bear in mind access for the many you that will be driving on the arena for the competions

Last year we had 180 cars drive into the arena so check the times on the memos on here incase you miss the DJ

There will be 2 of our senior marshals in your corner when you arrive Keith &martin who will direct you to your corner quickly
As always speed is important with 250 cars piling in so it will be manic for the first half hour so straight to your plot and into your own parking space quickly will help us so you can clear the runway before the other cars need to drive past

It's going to be a great NBO

Remember the charity buckets are sealed and no change given so if you have a £20 note that goes in the bucket instead of the £7 donation per car ,most people throw in a tenner as it all goes to army benevolent fund this year again
Hopefully we will raise over £7000 for the charity and there is some great raffle prizes too

The smaller groups with ten cars are easy to get in quickly along the bottom rows as they just line up and reverse straight in

We think of everything at the NBO committee meetings even Fairtrade tea and locally produced products !

Some clubs even had yellow and blue slush and no hot tea or coffee due to H&S reasons
Many clubs had Subaru cup cakes and sti sandwiches
It's amazing the levels clubs go to win a cup

Think there is 12 places left so stick down your name To be on the safe side
We would not refuse you on the day though but we like reasonably accurate numbers
Last year 326 cars turned up

Someone can have my space.

Flamin' typical that I need to leave on Sunday afternoon as training Jaguar/Land Rover engineers at the Coventry factory on Monday.

One of these years I will make it - Have fun.

Still another 12 spaces left on the stand.

Im on the list now hopefully have a better turn out than a certain other site
