Blitz nur spec ,,,, noise regs for elvington etc

just thinking i will be doing a few events this year but ive got a blitz nur spec to go on me type r nd just wondering if the blitz pass the regs ? anyone know ?

Don't you need a bung for any track days etc so that noise will be reduced and channelled rearwards.

Most racetracks have a 98db noise rating now so as to avoid annoying local residents.
If you have an IPhone you can get a decibel level app that will give you a rough idea of your noise level.

not sure mate , dont think i would fit the blitz if i had to put a bung in everytime

think the rules will be the same in the uk as here and i got kicked off after 1 lap couple weeks ago with my blitz fitted on my bugeye
and my dad passed with his prodrive back box on
this was on francorchamps
my m8 with his hawkeye with blitz nur spec RX got trown off at franco and zolder
thats bitch is even louder

Pretty sure Elvingtons limit is 105Db. Doubt a nurspec will be under that tbh

I was at teeside today and i dont think any of the cars there would have passed if it was 150Db lol some real loud motors there today

Milltek or revolution exhausts are usually recommended

I'm running full decat on a 2.5" system with just a prodrive back box, measured 102 db at Cadwell last year. had the back box taken to bits and repacked and measured 92db at Oulton Park last month. Both measured with the car stationary at about 5000 - 5500rpm. Never been to a trackday with drive-by noise testing but could imagine my car to be significantly louder on boost so don't know how i would get on.

Noisey days are limited to 105 db and quiet days are usually 88db that i'm aware of

My old Nur Spec was 115db @ 5,000, so i think your gonna be way over the desired level.
