my 1200 bandit (not a car but still a project haha)

i decided to sell my zx7r and get something a bit more comfy as all ive owned since passing my test 5 year ago is sportsbikes.
sold the kwak on friday and seen this on saturday for a great price so went and had a go of it. straight away knew it was the bike for me.
wish i bought one years ago now as it suits my riding style perfectly.
when i first bought it needed a good clean and the wheels where different colours so a tin of halfords gloss black later and they look much better.
took some pics on sunday when i had a ride up hartside and ended up over windermere i was enjoying the bike that much!

first job get some white rim tape for it. then maybe a small number plate.
need to polish the swingarm and bits of the engine casings thats all ready been done before.
then spray it white as i dont really like the colour and its got bits of glitter in it and looks a bit gay
thats all am going to do to it because its got all the extras on it that i want except maybe a bellypan.
engine wise its got 37k on the clock and is sweet as a nut. loads of bottom end grunt and it actually handles really good and stops better than any other bike ive had!

nice bandit mate great project bike would love to me bike test but the mrs is against it

Very nice mate, Gixer 1000 seat unit would look good on it, not that I'm trying to get you to spend money on mods

thought about a different seat unit but just going to keep it simple for now with a respray and few bits and bobs.

are these pictures taken on the little bridge bear nenthead just before you get into alston mate?? looks familiar thats all. mint stretch of road like. used to go up on the r6 all the time :-)

sure is mate. its a bit bumpy up there now though!!!
