Got Uprated ARP headstuds to go in my engine and having never fitted them before and allways used the standard subaru bolts, whats the procedure for fitting them ?? other than screw them into the block first but do you torque them into the block the same as you will torque the nuts down onto them ??

no mate the arp studs go into block hand tight, follow the arp 3 stage torque settings instead of the subaru ones for pre load, then the 2/3 stage angle settings, its best to chase the threads in block to ensure perfect alignment of studs, using the arp moly lube is a must also a calibrated torque wrench, as with all emerican fixings parts etc you need imperial socketry
