| Ok as above really whats the max i can go without blowing her up remember standard at the mo with the prodrive pack. (262 bhp / 250 lbft) If im after more what mods would i need ie turbo/ injectors and the like Im not looking for loads but about 300 bhp would suffice for the moment Cheers Keith | |

| i had vf35 turbo 550cc injectors full decat sti top mount on my bugeye wrxmade 358 bhp and 340 ft lbs with ne issues. your turbo and injectors you have fitted with a decat sti top mount and map should see between 280 and 300bhp | |

| I found this pretty useful mate - http://www.andyforrestperformance.co.uk/58901.htmlTheres a few WRX's on standard internals and gearbox running 400+BHP but I think it's generally accpted that around 350/360 is reasonably safe for the standard internals and box. Depends on how much mechanical sympathy you drive it with and how much you care if it breaks If I was doing it again think I'd go straight for the bigger turbo, injectors etc, but the standard remapped WRX still makes a good enjoyable road car with less worry! | |

| Mines around 300bhp at the minute with standard turbo and injectors and like Robbo if I was to start again Id get them before I had it mapped But saying that Im happy with it, it goes quite well but you cant have enough power and these could be in the pipeline for the future | |

| I'm pleased you put this thread up as i was thinking exactly the same! I'm currently running 346/300 but fancy getting somewhere near the high 300, even 400 at a push and ideally more torque. I'm hoping this can be done simply with a bigger turbo and a remap but i'm far from being an expert so if anyone can give some advice it wouldnt go a miss. Currently got VF34, pink injectors, STI TMIC, Walbro fuel pump, full decat, simtek ECU, K&N induction kit, AP organic clutch, lightened flywheel. (STI cams, STI valves,P1 Heads,STI V8 bottom end....this is in brackets cos i'm fooked if i know if this is what it has but the previous owner listed on sale!!) | |

| a decent td05 20g is my recomendation if you wanting 400ish, but must say its on the limit for wrx internals. and the gearbox is on the limit safe good/reliable power on wrx internals would be 360 IMO. | |

| It's all about justifying the outlay, if I'm only getting another 20bhp I might as well stick with my current set up...however I could get 400 and see my internals/gearbox go pop I had a look on the link that Robbo put up which is pretty useful, even Andy F doesnt recommend more than 390....hmmm desicions decisions!! | |

| Don't think I would have the balls to put a 20g on mine, the car would just disintegrate around me with expensive repair bills the way it gets driven ha. | |

| I take it you have a full de-cat turbo back exhaust too, are you also refitting your K&N typhoon? | |

Might go for a sports cat just to keep the emmisions down and mot passable And might fit the typhoon or just fit a better pannel like a cosworth or k+n jobby going to do a bit of first though mate! I need to stop buying alloys first as i seem to have 4 sets at the mo lmfao and only 1 scoob

What's wrong with four sets of wheels: Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter.

Any one out there tried the above ? duzn't work lol needs the innererds in for the cat to work that just sends the emissions through the roof lambda and co, the sports cats are shit unless ya get a very good quality one then they sumtimes only just pass the Co limit

Could do but im looking for a solution to the old mot I dont have any probs with an hours work every year but if i can get around it somehow would be is it not possible to remove the guts and get a remapp to sort the problems and still pass emmisions whilst looking like cat is fitted and not lose too much power ? Or is this asking too much
