| Noticed on the way down to NBO that at least one of my pistons was sticking on so decided to give them an overhaul and better pads. Found 1 piston sized and another 2 very iffy. Cleaned all pistons put in new seals and dust covers (seal kit from Import Car Parts) fitted new Diamound Back pads. WOW!!!! what a difference would recommend this to anybody how has doubts about there brakes quite easy to do as well. |

| totally agree, 4 pots work really well when they actualy work all 4 pistons. av done a few in the past. and the piston do sieze up, had some that siezed in av had too split calipers in halve and lock caliper in vice, and use stihlsens too free them off but as cdm1 said importcarparts keep the seal kits in stock |

| Cracking job Craig.
Did mine on Saturday and couldnt beleive that the two outer pistons on my left fromt were seized.
And makes one hell of a difference when all 8 front pistons work.
Does anybody have a problem with the noise the pads make as you press the pedal and then release, mine makes a clunk every time the pads move in the calipers and just wondered if I have anything missing. Mine has the Blobeye calipers and all pins, springs etc are there just the noise is a bit annoying. |

| Got to say its easy to take the brakes for granted a little bit, and my car is totally transformed now with everything working as it should.
Hats off to you for tackling the job yourself Craig, I wish I had that confidence.
Kushbex, I never had a "clunk" on my Blob brakes even when they were in a state. Hope you get it sorted soon. |

| If they are from the Hawkeye they shouldnt be that bad due to age. If the seal kits are as cheap for these as they are for the 4 pots i would say do it, then you know everthing is spot on. |

| Dicca if you can't push the pistons back easy when you take the old pads out you have a problem |

| Not a bad job at all if the pistons come out easy but you will need them on the bench. I paid £26 for both sides but i did pick them up. Just go on Import Car Parts good bunch of lads and super fast delivery. |
