| Well as you might know my car went in for repair on Monday and I have been driving around in this since, and I just had a call of the body shop today informing very apologetically my car wont be ready by ready till Monday WOO HOO lol. Get it for the long ride out on Sunday to the classic car shows that are along the stops of the North Yorkshire Moors Railway. I wasn't surprised when I rang the hire firm up and they said as I expected they didn't have any Subaru Impreza's for there like for like bases and had ran out of 'sports cars' but did have 4x4 and Prestige left. She first offered me a BMW X5 of which I refused and said I didn't want a 4x4, I don't see the point in them, then the next vehicle she offered me was the below, a 3.0 diesel XF Luxury. Its beautiful, perfect in every way ail have a tear in my eye when I have to give it back. Fun and quick too when you turn off the DSC (as much as you can) put it in race dynamic mode (visibly lowers the car) and turn the I-Drive to sport. Toys are aplenty, what you would expect from a 47K car. Put it this way its a trillion times better than that poor, shoddy, nasty to drive big Alfa (whatever it was) I got last time someone decided to bump into me. And if people are wondering why there insurance premiums are so high I got the rental invoice yesterday, £293 a day plus tax so your looking at £2400ish for the week, glad am not paying it. I want one so bad ha. | |
