| I only ever used to get a max of 21 knock on the apexi handheld comander before i did the head gasket, since then it will go as high as 80 when i cane it, & then other times 15 doing the same, it has done it before & after i had it to Evotune to get the map tweeked for the over fueling issue i had. And there was nothing major picked up on the det cans, i have since bought a ks-3, & again it shows inconsistant readings. Most of the time the apexi & the ks-3 show the same readings then other times one goes beserk. Fueling is fine. Could there be sommit loose caising the inconsistant readings, or somthing else?. Any ideas. Mark. | |

| I would say the Apexi Jamie, but the highest reading on the ks-3 has been 42, & the apexi read 15, which is why i'm confused, as i can't single it down to one constantly reading different/higher than the other. Mark. | |

| gearchange can cause it too give a high reading when mashing it up the box, so if its displaying peak knock it may look worse than it is, best way is reset it then load the car up in top gear from low revs and keep an eye on it
