Which ecu is better Empty
PostSubject: Which ecu is better   Which ecu is better EmptyWed 27 Jul - 10:31

ok lads ive got two here. The one that was in was the 7d

Original ecu- 7d
Impreza 1993-1996 UK Prodrive upgrade
ECU Code 7D or V7 : 13.64psi (actually the STi 2 6K map)
Or
Impreza 1993-1996 UK/GT/Aus WRX
ECU Code 7D or V7 : 11.47psi (UK Spec/Aus WRX)

And the z4 i have fitted as is ment to give more power
Impreza WRX 1994-1996
ECU Code Z4 : 12.7psi

Now i have a boost controller fitted and set to 15.5 psi so tge boost set via ecu is useless am i correct. The z4 has a speed limiter on it and im sure the 7d does.
I was curious if both ecus have different fueling ect .

Anyone shed light on this please
