| nop got told the bore off cil 1 was oval and out of the limits it could be used so without putting liners in the bores it won't work but i took the engine out 2 years ago and the car was running good only took it out for a new engine with big power so... it must be happend after we took the engine out and took it apart and i want a stronger engine for higher power in the future so now the block is f*cked going down to 2.2 might be the only way the engine will work? | |

| if the oval bore cant be re bored oversize 99.75 or 100 back to round then the only other option is to get it relined with sleeves, To achieve a 2.35 using 2.5 casings you use 2 ltr crank 2mm longer than std rods with the 2.5 bore pistons or get the casings resleeved down to 2.2 then bored to 2.35
either way its not cheap to do been there got the tee shirt lol | |
