yes they mappable but i think they used more for rally cars

dont think ther mappable, these are from japan and the map is set for high octane fuel, stuff we cannit get here in uk

Deffo seems to be the case amonst the majority, but i did run one for several years with no issues, & the bottom end only went when i got the Simtek fitted, affraid
But saying that i have read of loads of stories of motors going pop within weeks of fitting a Mines ecu.

Like Andy said, they are mapped for higher octane fuel but in Japan they didn't get 100 octane fuel until around 2000 so the early ones arnt as bad- although you definately need to run V Power plus octane booster with it. We tested one in the rally car and it ran really sweet, but was getting around 5mpg when driven hard on a stage!!!!

cheers lads now come across cheap apexi ecu just need to sort the cash and thing that will be the route i will be taking 250 with no commander which i think is pretty cheap
