| Seen them tday think I'll be buying them along with a new fuel pump, bob mapped the car yesterday and couldnt get enough fuel in, the injectors what are in now are pinks 500 which are smaller then the standard wrx ones so says something about who built it, a few things bob pointed out which were (bodged up), so still have no boost had the car nearly a month now lol but bob has transformed the car and now has no juddering off boost | |

| there has been an awful lot of debate over the size of the pink injectors, i believe the are indeed 505cc but for some reason everyone calls these 550cc, even some of the mappers.
I have maxed out my blue hawkeye injectors (same as pinks) at 371bhp, doing the maths they shouldn't max out until 400hp if they were 550cc.
what turbo are you running to max out 505's???

| Yeh jonny that was what bob was saying about the size of injectors I'm running a vf 35 turbo the injectors were running over 80% duty cycle, think fuelling issue was more the pump not able to put enough flow in, and would recommend changing the injectors to the correct size or bigger When changing the pump and before another map | |

| Are you going to fit an fpr as well ? Im thinking of fitting one when i put all my bits in but hoping my injectors wont max out as i have a set of pinks to go in and thought they were good for up to 400 | |

| Let's just say I wish I never bought the car it's a lovely car but its been bodged up when being de tuned, think I've had it 4 weeks now and it's in the garage striped down not what I wanted after paying that sort of money, bob has comfirmed that the injectors that are in are 2.0 2001 2005 Sti pinks which are 503cc and that the fuel pump is either dying or been replaced with a standard pump, Like said car is in bits and found that they was no gaskit on dump valve and exhaust bolts were loose, could go on but won't, It uses more oil then petrol probs due to the pistons wrongly sized to bore that's why I think it's been d tuned, anyway I'm stuck with it now so got 650cc and a Rodger Clark pump and also decat uppipe while Its in bits but wouldnt have done it with out Harvey bob Rawl and Trev for the late nights working on the car | |

| My sti injectors had 93% duty at 410bhp and I think there rated at 550-600, which I found out after changing them for 650s. The Power Enterprise 650s I put in then maxed out at 530bhp.
Lee you have made the right choice going for 650s its going to give you plenty of headroom, but if the car had not been butchered and had the original injectors in you would not of had these problems.
Good luck with the car, you made the right choice going to Bob Rawle cant speak highly enough for the the guy for what he has done for me.

| Yeh iddy Just took bobs advise and went for the 650cc and stayed clear of the walbro pumps as he said they is alot of chinese copy's about that rubbish, it was the first time i met bob and he has done alot of work for me on the car and off writing emails to the garage where I got the car from explaining the issues, he is very professional and generally does want to take care of your car not like other mappers I've heard story's about, don't think I'd use any other mapper now | |

| So just reading through this can I be certain that the pinks I'm about to drop in my car will not be the restriction and it would be capable of making 350-ish or at least not choking at that point or there about's if everything else goes ok ?
Just don't want AK to go to all the bother of fitting them if they are going to be borderline, would rather do this last mod just the once for all concerned.

| Cheers boss. And hopefully the event will occur in the not too distant future as my mapper is now doing regular work with a well know local scooby business, so he's in the area more often now. | |
