| I spoke to chris at eclipse, and the only way to map it is to put a chip in the ecu !! the car has been running to leen (detination)..... new uprated fuel pump and injectors checked.fuel lines flushed and new fuel filter. disregard the hks air intake and go back to the origonal air box. any other advice would be appriciated.. thanks deano. | |

| Think the cam cover on your car is sealed with silicon/gasket sealant mate, but the guys in the know will sort you out.

please refrain from swearing on the forum 'chipping' is a big no no, especially with these performance cars. youre best off (when the time comes) posting up in the tech section with reference to mapping so the boffins can point you in the right direction . as for the gaskets, import car parts in west auckland will be your best and cheapest place to get them. you could also try Alyn at ASPerformance (birtley). bit of a fiddly job to do but not too bad. oh and well done for getting stuck into the mechanics yourself |

| thanks for the reply, the cover is now off the car, not to bad of a job. just needs cleaning and put back together CAREFULLY... there is two half moons need doing first, strange set up !!. theres some genuine parts on ebay that look ok ??. half moons x2=£12, gasket and bolt seals x6=£20 | |
