Subject: newbie with a scooby wrx wagon import sa Tue 8 Nov - 11:59
hi everyone,am a newbie too....purchased my first scooby over 2 years ago cheaply as it was a non runner....turns out the timing tensioner had collapsed and caused the timing to jump..Fitted a new tensioner and belt and thankfully the enngine runs sweet I've finally got round to doing a few jobs on it including a full stainless de cat 3 inch system and upgraded the turbo to a td05.Also fitted a stainless turbo up pipe..Have also converted it from auto gearbox to a manual ..Have also managed to find a full leather trim and now the time has come to sort the bodywork and give it a re paint...

Thanks for the very warm welcome guys.......Am running standard ecu at the moment but am hoping santa is gona be good to me and hopefully fetch a fmic and then a remap to make the most of the mods i have made up to now Hopefully gona get some pix of my wagon up shortly....thanks again

Cheers for that finn....lol....am currently recovering from having a major operation on my spine so the scooby has to be put to bed for a short rest while i recover ...Am hoping to get some insperation from the forum users as to what mods would work best with what i have done up to now....am having a nightmare at the moment with the wiring side of things after converting the wagon to run a manual gearbox from an ra...Have already fitted the rear difff to match the gearbox...and everything works as it should...apart from the key release and the starter inhibitor switch...need to get this sorted so i can get the caar to start Am hoping to replace the headers to match the exhaust and then a fmic and remap at a later date when my back heals...once again thanks to you all for the vey warm welcome to the site....Have to say its the best
