Subject: Problem revs Thu 10 Nov - 14:17
Drove out of car park revs started going up to 2k when stopping at junction now on tick over its reving up then back down and now the engine management light has come on

Also noticed if u touch the throttle the revs up and down without u actually pushing down on the peddle

mine used to do it every now and again, but its on a syvecs and its been remapped for my latest mods and its never done it since. My car aint a good benchmark tho as it has no mac on it.

has any part of the throttle body been apart, theres a gasket for the idle control and it usualy splits when removed and can also leak water, ur symtoms sound like idle valve cant control idle speed correctly, this will bring the engine check light on also

yip its been apart and yip its a idle control fault code hes going to gedt trev to strip n clean it

Well it's sorted thanks to Trev tek was 1 knackered injector and idle control valve thanks for all your help lads much appreciated
