one of my workmates was telling me about this the other day, apparently if you lock your keys in your car you can call someone at home who can get the spare key and press the button and the doors will open!!!!
done some investigating and some sites say yes and some say no
anyone tried it?

Yeah, they did it on topgear, Gav is right though, it doesn't work with the Subaru alarm system.

It has something to do with the pulse range, when your car recieves the frquency it needs to open, when the signal goes threw a phone it gets distorted anyway so in theory should never work on any alarm but hey ho i once got flashed out a junction by a Audi driver so goes to prove anything can happen
