When getting a car mapped is it better to get it mapped on the road or on a dyno which will give the best results and feel better for driving.

heard some people have their cars mapped 1st on the rollers then tweaked on the road, must be something to do with loadings, speeds etc?

but as long as your happy with the end result, thats the main thing!!

might be wrong, but maybe robbo22 had his car mapped on rollers then tweaked on road?

duncan will be best to advise though

I was advised by the man himself and went for 'a bit of both' mapping Laughing Mapped on the rollers then tweaked on the road Wink

Edit - 10/10 Rooter Laughing

It's mint when you take it out for the 'tweak' and notice the difference Twisted Evil Twisted Evil

Personally think dyno tuned cars drive horrible! but i cant disagree if your a number chaser this is the best way to get the power figs to the max.

I had my 321t mapped at scooby clinic on the rollers and YUK!!! it was a right pig if im honest, just not to my liking nothing to do with them.

had it remapped by Andy Forest it was a much better nicer car.

did the same with the Clio turbo rs tuning mapped it on the rollers, i didnt like it at all andrew carr mapped it on the road and every thing was amazing

obviously you cant load the car up as if it was in real life on the dyno but its great so high powered cars don't have to do xxx speeds Smile

what i am saying i think its personal preference
