The Annual CumbrianScoobs Lakes & Fell Hoon.. Formaly the Gilpin Bridge Run
This will Take place on the 26th Feb 2012
Agenda as Follows.
Meet At Rheged Nr Penrith at 9.00-9.30 AM
This allows for fuel stops intown at the local shell Garage and use of the shop @ Rheged to purchase drinks & Snacks
With a view to leave at 9.45-10.00am
Depart In 6 Controlled Groups (Numbers Dependant)
This years Format will be pretty much unchanged from previous.
Maps will be issued to everyone attending & will also have pin pointed post codes for sat nav use incase you get lost.
The leaders of each group will be led By a member of cumbrian Scoobs who has previously been and recce'd the route.
These group's are as Follows
Screwloose group, For those drivers out there who like to push themselves and there cars to the limits ( were permisable)
Mentally unhinged, As above but more of a sedate group of drivers.
Slightly Derranged, same as the above 2 but more slower for those who arnt quite as confident and drive to there own limitations
Wagon Squadran, Not sure why this group is still here, Maybe to do with lordy as he can never make is mind up which vehicle he is bringing. but if your in a wagon and fancy showing the rest how its done then fire away.
Familly Group, for those who have children in the vehicle and still want to drive a reasonably quick pace
Sunday Drivers. For those who just want to tour the sight's without the fear of being rushed about.
Lunch is around 12:30 & is up to yourselves whether its a packed lunch of food purchased from where we stop off at.
Return around 3.30pm to park up & have the crack with a view to head for a bar meal if theres enough interest.
Depart Home when ready..
Route is yet to be planned & wont be published anywere due to many people prowling around...
So if you would do the Honours and form a list and state if you fancy a bar meal at the end. that would be of great assistance
