As gav says all the heads fit on all the engines, the older enines have a different crank tho and apparantly are not as good.

I have fitted my 2003 blob eye WRX heads to a 2.5 2007 STi Bottom end Smile

I take back my comment! I was thinking of internals not the Block. As per normal Mr G is correct Smile

down too cost as per the norm lol

the v7-8 sti is well known for having the strongest " standard " internals..

but the early 93 blocks were the strongest ie= fully closed deck block.

obvously aftermarket forged internals is the way forward for over 500bhp

but it gets very very expensive...

cdb - strongest block
V5/6 sti - strongest standard pistons
08 onward - strongest standard rods
V8 sti onward - best standard cranks

Pretty sure thats right iirc Smile
