Just got 320 miles on a tank :)

Not long back from touring the scoob around the Scottish Highlands.. Did some hill walking up there and forecast wasn't great so decided to take the scoob.. Filled up @ Shell in Blaydon and got 320 miles before the light came on Fairly chuffed with that. If it's a 50 litre tank I think that works out @ 29mpg or so.. The car got a hammering though, covered in salt,mud,grit the wheels were black.. Looked fairly unhappy!! Decided to take it through the car wash behind Taybarns in Blaydon, they've done a cracking job..

Dont want to burst ya bubble but it has a 60Ltr tank so only 24.2mpg

ah fook... That is pretty bad! and that was taking it reasonably steady.. coming home I did in half a tank between Edingburgh and here Ah well, didn't buy it for economy..

Its a good job that mpg is about right to be honest.

Duncan has mapped it but the bigger turbo etc I'm having fitted soon won't improve things hehe..

I did 253 Miles today With £50 of Fuel. Unsure what that works out at

Ah but the light comes on with 1.8 gallons remaining so might not be as bad!

Best way to tell for sure is back to the same pump, brim it again and take note of how much to fill it...
