Just for clarification, I own [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] as opposed to Scotty's brother and am based in Darlington. I don't yet offer machine polishing as I haven't set up a unit. My Authorised Detailer in this area is based in South Shields.

Scotty has the previous location of CarKandy correct so I can only assume that he is related to the previous owner.

Read up on detailing world about it first
A daz 6 polisher comes in at £90 and enough pads and cutting fluids should set you back £50-£70 aprox

Better then paying someone £250+ and very rewarding too
But it is a very slow job at least 1 hour per panel maybe more

When you see what people achieve on detailing world you will get hooked on it
Make sure wash and clay and de tar first though and don't try to do it over a weekend best spread it out over a weeks holiday or throw a sickie !

If you do go on Detailing World, dont read any of the progress threads, you can lose a day just reading about what other people have done to their cars Laughing
