Subject: Garage insurance Thu 9 Feb - 11:35
Has anybody on here got a garage which is insured but not on their own land????
Ive got a garage on a plot of land i rent and the insurers who i have my buildings and contents insurance through wont touch it as its not on "my land".
Does anyone know of any insurance companies that will insure my garage

That only offers garage insurance if you have your household insurance through them Phil but cheers anyway. Im struggling to find anyone who will insure my garage on its own and its not on my property which seems to be a stumbling block also.

Have you tried asking your current insurer if they know of any?

I have mate and they said they knew of no insurers who would insure a building on land that is not in my name. Its a garage on private land which I let a plot on. Wonder if they are insured for the land?

i have a floating buldings policy policy where i rent a garage on private land. all my contents and cars in their are covered . try giving axa buisness insurance a call m8
