| just found a rb 320 engine low miles what would i need to put this in a 03 sti blob and is it worth doing or just rebuild original lump thanks devildame666 | |

| would need a remap. RB320 lump is 2.5L so you'll have more torque on tap |

Did the blob STI's not run avcs? |

| Yes but they run differant sensors which arnt swop able cos of the heads been differant | |

| this 03 sti still starts and runs just has shell rattle once you rev.every thing is there for rb320 ecu,wiring ets at extra cost on top of engine price if i need every thing.he originally asked £2k but i,ve manage to get some knocked off devildame666 | |

| to use a hawkeye ecu you would need the complete wiring harness, its dashboard out and whole front end off to change, many other parts aswell | |

| looking like a viable option this car will stand mr roughly at £4k o3 sti fsh but with 2.5 converion just labour on top roughly devildame666 | |

| it would be much easier just to put the 2lt heads on the 2.5, swapping everything over to run a hawkeye ecu is quite a big job | |

Easyest option of the two. is fitting the avc heads to the 2.5 block, this is what ive just done to my own car
i think if your able to do the work your self you could do the full thing is about £350 quid if not less

| could do it myself have all the gear and my own premises but had 2 plates and metal cage in spine in november so all that bending over and lifting would totally do me in lol..its much easier paying some one these days..my days of pulling cars apart and doing my own work ended in 1997 when we sold our scrapyard lol..think i need to sort out every thing to see where i am with it ang go from there.devildame666 | |

| lol the cam phase sensors are different peril and ya cant swop them over on the bug-blob to hawk and the hatch uses inlet & exh avcs | |
