| Was asked to paint some engine covers off Mark Prior, off his R33GTR in Wrinkle red. After 5 hrs of cleaning, prep & masking, few coats of etch primer, a few coats of wrinkle red, a few hours in the oven, & a few days to cure they came out canny good. After a wash. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Removing the old heat proof paint which was a pain as it was like putty. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]All primed & baked & left to cure for a day. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Colour applied & baked & left to cure for 2 days. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Will look pretty smart when fitted.
