I have just recentky bought swiss old classic had two engunes in now its gone fancy either blob or bug witch is most relyable and more sought after

Blob mate bug eyes just dont look as good as for reliability ide say there all the same you could spend blob money on a classic and itl be mint it all depends on how its been looked after and if they repaired / replaced with decent parts mate. You know what i told u to buy you should mate its a nice wagon and ideal for what you do most the time tony

Both basically the same car, the blob is a facelift, some prefer them and some prefer the bug, they are both good cars as far as reliability is concerned. As drew said, find a good one and it will be reliable.

i like all scoobs and have a blob now and had a bug before also a classic very briefly and like jonny says you just need to find a good one and they are reliable

BUG!!! But I would say that ;0) which model is pretty much upto you fella......sort after would be a limited edition in either model......history on the engine would go along way if bought from a good source.
