My partner has an 07 ST2,
I think it is a very well finished off car,
I drive it everytime we go out it has a scorpion system,Collins dump vale,RS plugs,k+n filter .
It sounds nice goes well but not like a Scooby but very respectable really.
Better around visability than the VXR .
I'm onto my 8th Scooby and I was pleasantly surprised with the ST ,
Just have an open mind sometimes and try one for yourself Wink

Me Dad chopped his Bugeye WRX in for the latest ST a year or 2 back - nice car, well put together, nice to drive, very nice inside, went OK but performance was shite compared to the standard WRX. He wanted something newer than the Bugeye and loved the ST - then the novelty wore off and he much preferred the bug. Think he had it less than a year........

I've still got me st3 and can't fault them but I'm more a ford Baffin than scoob lover lol mines 310bhp and torque just under 400 ftlb .... They really strong motors and the boys like jamsport and scc are using the st blocks with little strengthening mods to get well over 500bhp...

The performance of the ST focus is utter shite a lad I know had one modded to 300 bhp. My TK WRX left it standing and it was only pushing .7 bar of boost. The Focus ST is nothing special whatsoever.. Keep the Scooby or get a Skyline GTR

Spannermonkey I've always had a soft spot for the blue oval that's why I'm thinking ST ..... I'd love an RS but not sure if I can stretch to one price wise.

The prices of the Rs are creeping down but won't drop as low as an st , even the mk1 frs are decent one of me pals has one over 500 bhp and drives lovely ... Guess its all down to personal preference , even with them being front wheel drive you can still shot them about and not end up in a hedge!! If mine was on the road you could of used mine for weekend but I've sorned mine with me using van more

I've thought about it but I'm too much into the red one at the moment. Drop DanG a line, he went that route and would give you an honest opinion.

He loves his apart from just getting it mapped and his clutch starting to slip!! Resulting in needing an RS clutch costing £800!!!!

I thought it was meant to be a money saver compared to the scoob. Naughty boy will be getting chained to that radiator in the back bedroom again. Laughing
