This looks the business and no mistake! I have a grill (c-west for newage) that I'd like done in 95H dark blue mica. How robust is the finish (I guess it's pretty durable!) and do you do the prep or would it need prepping beforehand? Most importantly what is the rough price?

whats the biggest thing you can do?? would it be possible to do wings, bonnets etc

The finish is as durable as a paint job mate.....2k base coats dipped then 2k clear coat to seal the pattern in......yeh I do all the prep then at least I know wot am working with that way....a rough price till I see it as am not to familiar with the part....£50.......trev as time goes on I guess I will be able to dip bigger......it's just about putting it to the test.....wings sound easier than a bonnet tho mate Wink

that's the grill, it's painted black at the moment.

Locky al drop the air filter box down to yours about 630 av got it in the van

Yeah I got the grill for a bit of a steal, it's been on my blue car ever since(grill is black!). I'd only look for it to match the rest of the car, in other words paint code 95H dark blue mica. Just need to work out where you are now! Obviously due to some holiday coming up ill be looking to do it after new year!

Wot so your not wanting it carbon dipped mate? My business is more adding effects and prints rather than just spraying parts.....I could do it if you get the paint no bother mate Wink

How much would I be looking at for that?

Sorry but am lost off .....how much for a carbon dip? Or how much to spray?

I'm near Alnwick. It's the prep work that the body shops sting me with!

Yeh I will do it for £40 aslong as you sort the paint.....am ok for primers and clear coats myles but I don't stock colours just base coats ect

Yes mate any cars and any thing that can be dipped really.....house hold objects ect light fittings radiators....clock frames mirror frames.....the options are endless to wot can be done.....I will pm you my number across....

i thought of getting mine done aswell jonny but it looks like it might fit corner to corner but not sure if the flow of the tank will work,if it was cut in half yes but i think its a mint idea as it will be plastic coated and cleared will only make it stronger (not that i would try it lol) i was thinking get it wrapped then cleared Wink
