Finn Why not use flush fit, locking Areocatches for the bonnet, i used them on me old one without the catch & striker. Think there around £35

a was thinking about going down that route..
until a looked at the difference in catch on bug too hawk, and the only difference is the open handle, the hawk one is offset and 25mm longer, so am gunna make me own too save £70 lol
also gunna do away with the headlamp washer jet covers and fill them in..

just a update.
ave done away with the headlamp washer jets and blanked them off and filled holes in
am gunna modify a classic bonnet catch to suit, and buy the striker from dealers (not expensive)
am gunna get the towing eye cover from dealers as they wer a excellent price
so all am looking for still is washer jets, heard rumours other cars fit ?????
and then a just need the wing mounted plastic bracket what pulls the bumper into place ???

C4 atomisers were a direct drop into the bonnet on my Blob with a little pipe work fettle underneath (just remove two plastic stents) - part number 6438CA.....about £15
Alternatively I still have the OEM washer jets from my Blob in my briefcase for some strange reason, they are free gratis to a man like yourself.
