Yea I misread and thought it said 99 that would be mappable with ecutek. Your best option would be an apexi power fc they can be picked up fairly cheap nowadays and would work out a lot cheaper than a simtek.

Scoobynet have a post on about a similar question ive asked, Apexi or simtek is only option until summit called ESL goes into production. Whatever that is. So its gonna cost for a TD05, new ecu and a map... Is it worth it as my car is believed to be around 270horses already but i have no proof of this.

I think a 98 is the only classic that CAN be mapped
you better ask someone that can tell you sure like finn, jonny gav, andyk or drew

Keffer your wrong m8 sorry Sad
No need to change the ignition if you change ecu. If your car is running 270 BHP then it must of been mapped somehow so someone has probably told you some lies lol..
Esl is another option you can choose I'm sure Andy Carr can do it bud check out his site www.teamcarr.net

It don't take long to get used to the power bud mines running about 390 and it seems slow as fook lol. If its got bigger injectors fitted like you think it has been mapped or it wouldn't run properly or even not at all.

As i say i have no proof about BHP im just going off what ive been told, only way to find out is to put it on RR. Ellio's RR day is on the forum, 261 bhp i believe it was. So its obviously had summit done to it.

I'm sure Jonny will be along shortly bud. He knows exactly what he is talking about and should be able to give you some better advice of what you need to do to find out exactly what's going on. You could get in contact with ellio he might know more I'm sure his number is posted on the site...

Ive messaged him on facebook. Ive looked at his forsale add on here and nothing mentions a map. Iv seen the RR results and when car hit 261 it was in Oct 2011. Prob lost alot of power now. Cheers again natski
